Guyan was born Pike County, Illinois, moved to Dekalb County, Missouri (town of Union Star) as a boy. Married twice - (1) to Cordelia Perkins - 7 children - Charles, Clyde F., Oscar. Elmer G., Albert Taylor, Harry and Roy Perkins; and (2) to Mary Brocker - 4 children - Henry, Edna, Juanita and Geraldine. Family lived in Okarch and Pawnee, Oklahoma where many of the children were born. Guyan Sweet eventually returned to Union Star, Missouri where he died and is buried. If this family is connected in any way to family you are researching, would be happy to share info I have collected.
