Elsie, I am looking for Phebe SWEET, born about 1800, place uncertain, but who married John PIERCE IN 1820, and after John's death in 1840, emigrated with the PEET families to Iowa. She is found as head of household in the 1850 IA census. I'm checking out anyone who may be from Cortland Co. There has to be a link! I have found several SWEETs in Cortland Co., but nothing to link Phebe to any of them. Let's stay in touch.
