My Sweets were from New Brunswick but the rest of my family were from Fort Fairfield, Maine, not far from Houlton. Which ones are you looking for? One of my ancestors was Eliza Sweet who, I was told, was known as "The Sweet Singer of Maine". To my knowledge, she never lived in Maine so don't know about the veracity of that and Have never found it anywhere documented.
