She married a James B. VanCamp b.19aug1819 in Darlington,Durham County,Ontario and died 18feb1899 in Buel Twp,Sanilac County, Michigan. He was the son of Jacob VanCamp and Mary Burk. James and Eliza's children were: James Lewis VanCamp b: Abt 1845 in Canada Robert Nelson Van Camp Martha Diett Van Camp Mary Jane Van Camp Elizabeth Caroline Van Camp Anne Eliza Van Camp Zenas James Van Camp > Lydia Belinda Van Camp Franklin Edward Van Camp

Hi; We have an Elizabeth Rowe Sweet born in Lanlivery Cornwall in 1822 and died May 13 1907 but was buried in Bowmanville Cemetary, Bowmanville,Durham County ON. She married Samuel Mason. I had no Knowledge of Sweets in Darlington before our John Sweet came with his family in 1837. Would be very interested in learning more of your Eliza Sweet. We do not know why our family chose Darlington. As well here is an excerpt from my notes about our Sweets who went to Sanilc Michigan. Florida where William Sweet B 1829 in Lanlivery Cornwall and came to Canada in 1837 with his parents John & Ann Moved to Michigan with Family and then relocated to Florida, where he had a citrus grove. The 1880 Census has them in Washington, Sanilac, Michigan with all the children but Elizabeth. Their daughter Elizabeth Ann Sweet was born abt 1858 in Darlington and was the oldest child.
