Hi, Thanks for responding, I'm not quite sure when Sarah's parents moved there but it would have been around the same time. I think I may have her in the 1860 and 1870 census. There is a Sarah E. Sweet listed with another family in 1860 Washtenaw, MI as being born in NY and age 13. The family is Cornelius Parsons age 28, May age 26, and Edith age 2. There is a Ebenezer Sweet, wife Margaret listed in the 1850 Washtenaw, MI census with a Elizabeth age 2. This Ebenezer has a son named Franklin age 10, I was thinking that maybe since they named a son Frank, this could be her. The only problem is that Margaret the mother was listed as being born in NY and on one of the census records with her husband, she listed that her mother was born in Pa (I know that they are not always correct). I was thinking that maybe Fred and Eliza. Toney's daughter Minnie may have been named after Margaret, which I believe is a nickname for Margaret? The only other person listed with them in the 1850 census is a Rebecca Sweet age 36. I'll have to do some more investigating, but if any of these names look familiar to anyone, please let me know.
