Cyndi, After 30 years of research I am very frustrated. The Peleg Sweet cannot be in error as my Great Great Grandfathers birth record is proof as well as the Civil War Record. I have been trying to find the Peleg Sweet who married a woman named Electra, no last name reported. The were in the Nunda/Grove, Allegheny, CO, New York area in 1810 a long with his brother Rueben. The last NY Land or Census found were in 1840s. In fact in the 1840 NY census there were 26 people in the household! To bad they didn't list their names, they were massing before they came to MI. In Michigan 5 Sweet Families had part of one section of land. Their relationship is not listed. Except for Peleg there's Peleg and Peleg Jr., Thus; we surmised that Peleg was the father of our 3rd Grandfather. That's why we were searching for Peleg, Sr. Thanks for the ear -- Celina
