She was born in Canada. Her mother was Jane Sheady who was born in County Cork Ireland and she married Charles Ladouceur who renamed himself Charles Sweet. Jane was born around 1843 and her kids are: Lucy, Nelson (Narcisse), Emily (Emma), Charles, Joseph, John, Anthony, Thomas, Mary Jane, Henry, Caroline, Helen (Ellen or Nellie), and Peter.
