    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/HBRBAIB/1134.1 Message Board Post: I believe my Dayton Sweet is Calebs son. He was born in New York and met his wife Alba Cinda Ellis in Roxbury, Delaware County, New York. The Ellis as well as Calebs family moved to Polo, Ogle County Illinois, where her family was in the 1850's and on. Dayton then moved to Iowa then to Nebraska. He has a Valentine Sweet whom is 2 years older then Dayton living near by in 1860 whom was also born in New York. Calebs son Nelson also has a son named Dayton but birth dates are off. I am assuming my Dayton is a brother to Nelson. I have also seen that the name Valentine runs in this family as well. Would love to see if you can help verify my theory.

    1. Ernest Sweet-1880-1905?-WI?-IL?
    2. Hello, I am new to the list. I am looking for information on Ernest Sweet and know very little about him. He married Margaret Ellen Ford around 1900. They had 2 children: Harry Sweet b. 09 April 1901 d. 01 July 1963 in Madison, New Jersey, U. S. A. John Sweet b. 03 May 1903 Something had happened to Ernest by 1913 as Margaret remarried in that year in Rockford, IL. She also passed away three months after the marriage. The boys were raised by their grandmother Ford. The Ford family was from Albion, WI. I have not been able to connect Ernest with any of the Sweet families in the area. Looking for any help or clues. Thank you. Bob Sommerfeldt

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/HBRBAIB/1263 Message Board Post: The subject says it all. I have gathered information from the participants of the Sweet DNA project about their respective lineages. All those who gave me both the information and the permission to publish it are now shown on a new page at the DNA project web site. The ones with shared ancestry are connect into a "tree". At present, the only ancestor with multiple descendants shown is immigrant John Sweet of Salem and Providence, but I expect that to change, as there are several descendants of John Sweet/Swett of Newbury participating. Comparison of these lineages with the actual DNA results is fairly encouraging -- most of those who claim common descent have matching DNA, and most of those who have matching DNA also claim common descent. Take a look, and see what you think. Here is the URL for the new page: http://www.fairleafarm.harvard.ma.us/linsweet.htm (or you can get there by going to the main DNA page... http://www.fairleafarm.harvard.ma.us/dnasweet.htm and following the link at the bottom.)
