I believe that Archibald (1890-1972) also had a brother, Clifford (1886-1956) in the Cincinnati area. I also know that Archibald had a daughter, Evelyn (1916-2002). Those three are buried in Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati. Any other information will be very welcome. I can help your son also. I have the Sweet's (old name Swett) back to the 1600's.     3. Sorry I don't. My ancestors all originated in Devon or Cornwall and as far as I know my sons and I are the only Sweett's in North America. Len

He has been traced back to the 1600's and as far as I know never lived in Canada. Thanks for replying.

    3. I am still looking for information on Sweett although it is possible that back before 1771 the extra "t" resulted from poor handwriting. I have not, to date, found any John or Archibald Sweet connected to my family. Thank you for your posting.

    3. Looking for information about a Delos Sweet that lived in Madison Co. I was told that he married my grandmother's mother Olive Damon Payne, wife of Truman Payne. Truman died in 1875. Sure would love to learn where he and she are buried and any thing else I can find out about him and her. Joan Beebe Meddaugh Granddaughter to May A. Payne Beebe formerly of W. Jane was born around 1843 and her kids are: Lucy, Nelson (Narcisse), Emily (Emma), Charles, Joseph, John, Anthony, Thomas, Mary Jane, Henry, Caroline, Helen (Ellen or Nellie), and Peter. Charles also went to the US around 1850 to a place called Granby, Oswego, NY. He returned to Canada by 1851.
