Hi everyone, I am looking for information about a family of Sweeney's that lived in and around Iron and Washington Counties in Missouri. The earliest I have them there is in 1830 in Washington County. A John Swinney Sr. and a John Sweeney are listed as head of households. My ancestor was the daughter of John Sweeney the younger, Mary Jane Sweeney. She married Houston Edmonds in Iron County, Missouri.
