Hi I'm looking for information on JOHN 50,& CATHERINE,48,SWEENY who were found on the 1870 census in Centralia, Columbia Co., PA. Their daughter, CATHERINE MC DONALD, 31, was widowed and also living in Centralia with her children. Later information indicates that the Sweeneys came from Canada and that Catherine was born there. I'm trying to confirm this. Also trying to find John & Catherine Sweeny on the 1880 census. The younger Catherine (my g-grandmother) had married James Brennan in 1871. Anyone researching this branch?
