Hi there- Just put an old photo up at my site...It was in the McLain family possession and is totally unidentifiable. It is a group under a tree in probably early to mid 1800 dress. Anyone who might know, I would sincerely appreciate what your educated guesses are. Also, I have NO idea who the families are but the collatoral lines in this time were: McLAIN, STALLINGS, SWEENEY, HALL, PHILLIPS, PEAK, LEAMAN, BEALL, MAGRUDER, BEAM. The area is very likely Marion, Nelson or Washington County, KY but some moved on to Topeka, Kansas also. The photo is at my master site listed below, just under the photo at the top...
