Cornelius(Neil) Sweeney is my ggrandfather. He was born about 1810. According to my grandmother's death certificate his birth took place in Scotland. He married Mary nee Hiskins(?) who was born in England about 1808. They came to the USA from Ireland about 1854 and settled in Philadelphia,Pa. There were three daughters, Annie born in Ireland about 1853, Sarah born in Phila. about 1855 and Cecilia , my Grandmother born in 1860 in Phila.Mary Sweeney died in 1883 and Cornelius(Neil) in1895 in Phila.
