Hi, I have found a listing for Åke Håkensson, as the first record listed in HER - 1800-1801, Töllstorp, Archive digital, Vasterstad AI:3 (1800-1801) image 46/page 42. Ake Hakansson age 67 dead wife - Bengta, age 59 The record lists that he died. But I can't seem to find his death record in 1800 or 1801 listings? Can anyone review and see if I've overlooked it or suggestions? Thanks so much. Becky Olson

Can anyone review and see if I've overlooked it or > suggestions? --- Perhaps the remark is actually "döv" (deaf), not "död" (dead)? But he is crossed out so it seems likely he died. Perhaps he died in another parish, this early such cases were usually not recorded in the home parish death records. He is not with the family in the Next HFL, AD Västerstad AI:4 (1801-1802) Image 47 / page 43 (AID: v110314.b47.s43, NAD: SE/LLA/13469). But these HFL volumes cover Västerstad and Östraby parishes, and Tolstorp is in Östraby. Perhaps Östraby has separate death records? Yes, Åke Håkanson is found 30 Jan 1801, buried 8 Feb, in AD Östraby CI:3 (1789-1832) Image 202 / page 308 (AID: v110422.b202.s308, NAD: SE/LLA/13534). //Bo Johansson
