Hi, I believe that the following record is for the same person as a "Pehr Nilsson" listed on HER, Pehr Nilsson and family , Vasterstad AI:1 (1777- 1781), image 42, page 71. Hjeras, parish of Vasterstad, Sweden. The birthdates match, etc... Is the name is the name Pehr the same as Pär or Per? Any help would be greatly apprcitated. Thanks! Thanks, Judy! So... the next logical question is 'which' name do you use to record for documentation in your genealogy application? I would assume that I should use the name listed on the birth record which is Pär - and reference the others as alternate spellings? Or suggestions?? thanks!
