    3. I am wondering if it is possible to find this man in Sweden with the limited information I have found. I have always known a starting location when looking for my Swedish ancestors and have no idea how to start looking for this man. My father’s great-aunt Martha Sørensdatter was born in Norway on 31 July 1834 and immigrated to Chicago in 1869 as a single woman. Sometime between 1870 and 1880 Martha married a cabinet maker named Gustav Wennerberg (called Vandermark in the 1880 census). Martha was a widow by 1900. I found Gustav Wennerberg, cabinet maker, in Chicago City Directories in 1893-1895, and Martha as widow of Gustav at the same address in 1897 and 1899. Gustaf Wennerberg’s death certificate says he died June 8, 1895, age 55 years 7 months 15 days. He was born in Sweden and had resided in Illinois for 25 years. The only other reference I have found that may be this man is G. Wennerberg as a witness to the marriage of John Peter Bergquist to Elin Carina Sorenson at Saint Ansgarius Episcopal Church in Chicago on 26 Aug 1870. Elin Carina is likely Martha’s sister who also immigrated in 1869. Thank you for any suggestions. Annette

    3. Found one Gustaf Theodor Wennerberg, carpentry worker. He was born 24 Oct 1839 in Göteborgs Domkyrko. He left Göteborg in 1869 and also left a wife and two kids. He is said to have died in America (Chicago) 24 June 1895.
