    3. I just saw the reply from Martin to Naomi. about her ancestor. Is this emmigration information available on-line? I have a Sarah Bratten who was born Sept 23, 1869 according to records I have. But that was not her name when she was born. According to what I have, her name may have been Sigrid Olsson, born to Olof Olson and Marit Bengson and they may have been from a farm(?) in the V?rmland area although my records have it spelled as "Wermland" which I was told was really Varmland in pronounciation. Then farm(?) may have been called Brattmon(?). She ended up in North Dakota married to a Hans Hanson, then ultimately in Maryland. I have been able to find this area on a map of Sweden, but have not spent any real time yet investigating what is available on-line. She would probably have come to the US in the 1890's, maybe the latter part as my grandfather, her son, was born in 1900. Thank you for any direction. Cindy
