    1. [SWEDEN] Confusion re: mixed parishes
    2. Lois Casson
    3. In 1858 the family I am researching moved to Stommen, Yllestad, Skaraborg. I have them in the moving in records: AD Yllestad, Skaraborg, B:3, 1841-1966, image 44. In 1860 and 1864, children are born in "Stommen" Näs, Skaraborg. Those records don't indicate that it is Stommen Yllestad or something else. Here is where my problem really lies. In the HFLs for Yllestad I find no Stommen. There is a Stommen in Näs but some of the records for the relevant time period are also included in the Vistorp, Skaraborg book. But, I cannot find the family. I've searched page by 166 pages of the related HFL for Yllestad. Nothing first go round. And, I find nothing in the books for Näs or Vistorp either in Stommen. On my ma; I can see that Näs is just NE of Yllestad, but Vistorp is about three times the distance south of Yllestad. Is anyone aware of some historical or geographic info of which I am not aware. By 1880 census, mother is dead that the family is in Jönköpings Östra, Skaraborg. FATHER: Gustaf Andersson Lundqvist, b. 13 Aug 1818, Yllestad, Skaraborg MOTHER: Hedvig Charlotta Engström, b. 17 Mar 1821, Bjrubäck, Skaraborg Thanks in advance for the help, -- Lo in Flo Lois Kalander Casson Pensacola, FL

    3. Yllestad, Näs and Vistorp were joined in a "pastorat" until 1927 so the records may well have been mixed up. Yllestad was the mother parish. Martin
