Hi Henry, I looked for many years trying to find my grandfather before he landed here. I was giving Superman the credit for brining him over.:} The wonderful people on this lsit found him for me. I always knew him as Michelsen and had no information to think otherwise. They found he was born Karlsen and that he had taken his mother's name Michelsen but, it must have been soemething to do with paper work, he was registered as Karlsen on his passage. He was Michelsen always, here. Yes, I think the one you found in Landeryd is him. I can't seem to connect him within North America though. I'll check under the name of Landin. Is it unusual to change your last name? Doesn't sound like a common last mane? Thanks!
