My Peter Mattsson did have a brother named Anders born in 1836. My Peter's birth can be found at: Rölanda C:4 (1829-1858) Image 15 / page 21 (AID: v11258.b15.s21, NAD: SE/GLA/13446) My Peter was in the U.S. and married by 1860 and he had 2 children born in 1861 and 1865. His mother Catarina Andersdotter was living with him in 1860 although she changed her surname to Mattson. He died 25 Sep 1872 in the U.S. I really don't know how to explain the two Peter Mattssons.
