    3. I just looked a Wiki and found Obestämd is a Swedish word - indefinite.     3. Thank you Barbara for both of your responses. I don't think they were "lost at sea" as one of the sons emigrated to the U.S. in 1897. I will just have to hunt for them - this is not the first time I had to hunt for a family.
