I suspect the text to the right is some code for how they did in the examination. If Maria Samuelsdotter is not in the list, it probably means she lived elsewhere, but look also some years before and after the expected date, in case she took first communion early or late. Or there is some typo, it seems the priest in this parish had difficulties with getting the names right... // Bo Johansson

    3. Bo, thank you. I looked at most of the confirmation records when I discovered that Oluf Nilsson's children were in them. I don't think I missed Maria Samuelsdotter. She and Olof Olofsson married in Tysslinge and their first child was born in Axberg, so I'll look for her in those parishes. Kil (and Tysslinge) household records seem to be missing between 1740 and 1757, at least in AD, and the page with Maria's father Samuel Taberman in the earlier one had so many strike-throughs and people written between the lines that it was nearly impossible to read. The last time he and his wife were in the communicants list looks like July 1733, so maybe they moved to another parish.
