    3. Thank you, Bo. That must be Maria's mother and sisters at Svalnäs. I had noted Christina with her husband, where she was called Christina Samuelsdotter Taberman, but had missed her with Kerstin at the top. I'll look for birth records for Christina and Elisabeth in Kil. You are probably right about Samuel and Kerstin in the earlier book, too. I looked at that page and couldn't read the names. I had never seen Samuel as Olsson and couldn't make out the given name as Samuel, but he is marked out and his entries in the other columns stop at the right time to fit his death record. They begin in 1734 when his communicant entries stopped in Kil. Wow, you have helped me so much! Thank you!     3. I began with Christina's birth and worked backward through the births in Kil parish. I found a lot of children for Samuel Taberman and his wife Kerstin Erichsdotter, including Elisabeth, and I also found them as witnesses for the christenings of a lot of children, including the sister of the man their daughter Maria later married. That made me curious about how the witnesses were chosen. Were they usually related?
