I saw this on Facebook today, from a group called Sweden Genealogy Research <https://www.facebook.com/SwedenGenealogy?fref=nf> ------------------ Perhaps you will find a fattigbevis (certificate of poverty) for ancestors too poor to have a bouppteckningar (estate inventory) done. Part of the assets found in an estate inventory were taxed for the poor, and apparently this fattigbevis is an application to avoid that tax.
