I would really appreciate help in deciphering the occupation of one of my ancestors, Daniel Gabrielsson, in 4 consecutive HFL volumes. I expect he was a torpare, but I'm not sure. In the first, "Måg" (son-in-law) is crossed off and an abbreviation of something is written in just to the left: Jönköping, Svenarum, Svenarum Södergård,1831 - 1839, page 66, 8th line from top I think the second one has the same abbreviation to the left of his name: Jönköping, Svenarum, Svenarum Södergård,1839-1846, page 68, top line The third looks to me like "Bruk": Jönköping, Svenarum, Svenarum Södergård,1846 - 1855, page 210, top line And the last one might be "Br": Jönköping, Svenarum, Svenarum Södergård,1856 - 1862, page 241, top line Also, it's clear these people went to Amerika, but I would really like to know exactly what the note in this record says: Jönköping, Svenarum, Svenarum Norrgård Säteri, Husförhör, 1867-1871, page 327, top line Thanks.
