They are with Olof's parents at Lekåsa Östergård in Lekåsa AI:1 (1799-1814) Image 7 / page 5 (AID: v9735.b7.s5, NAD: SE/GLA/13323). - Anders Carlsson, born 1741 Bitterna, died 1810. - wife Britta Jonsdotter, born 1741(?), died 1814. - son Olof Andersson, born 1774-07-09 Lekåsa. - wife Anica Jansdotter, born 1781-03-08 Lekåsa. - d. Catharina, born 1806-06-08 Lekåsa. - s. Andreas, born 1810-05-05(?) Lekåsa, died 1811. Both Olof and Annika are recorded as born in Lekåsa, so why would they have been in Steneby when they married? I think I see their marriage 24 Jun 1804 Groom: Olof, born 1775, becoming tenant farmer in Östergård Lekåsa, parents Anders Carlsson and Britta Jonsdotter. Bride: Annica, born 1781, parents Jan Bengtsson and Kari Larsdotter. Lekåsa E:1 (1789-1869) Image 13 / page 19 (AID: v9441.b13.s19, NAD: SE/GLA/13323). Unfortunately there seems to be a gap in the birth records between 8 November 1780 and 26 August 1781 in Lekåsa parish. I looked in the Lekåsa "pastorat" birth 1782-1788, looking for births with a father named Jan Bengtsson. There is one Maria born 8 Oct 1786 in Kyrkås parish, father Jean Bengtsson of Kyrkås, in Lekåsa C:3 (1727-1788) Image 269 / page 521 (AID: v9421.b269.s521, NAD: SE/GLA/13323). It is possible that she is a sister to Annika Jansdotter, but also that she is not, maybe Annika was actually born elsewhere. // Bo Johansson Lance L.
