Dear Listers, I am still working on Nils Matthissons family. I am trying to follow his daughter, Christina Nilsdotter, born 25 Sep 1800 in Rolsmo Södragård, Linneryd. I last see her in HFL: Linneryd AI:14 (1818-1822) Image 92 / page 78 (AID: v18796.b92.s78, NAD: SE/VALA/00224). Christina moved here in 1821. Her birth date has morphed a little bit to 24 Dec 1800, but Bo found where that happened. She is not crossed out so usually she would be in the next HFL. I cant find her in the next HFL: Al:15 in either Virshult or Virsryd. I checked death records for 1821 and 1822 and she was not there. I also tried marriage records for 1821 and 1822. I found an entry that looks like she moved to Ljuder in 1821. Moving out record 21 in Linneryd BI:2 (1785-1837) Image 135 / page 263 (AID: v30510.b135.s263, NAD: SE/VALA/00224). Ljuder doesnt seem to have moving in records for 1821. So I did the page by page search in HFL: Ljuder AI:7 (1813-1830) Image 474 (AID: v18831.b474, NAD: SE/VALA/00225) but, sadly, I did not find her. Could someone please check the moving out record to see if I read it right. Linneryd BI:2 (1785-1837) Image 135 / page 263 (AID: v30510.b135.s263, NAD: SE/VALA/00224). I tried to see if the moving in records were in another parish, but couldnt figure it out from the notes in the search page for Ljuder. I did look at Södra Sandsjö as that looked like a possibility, but didnt find Christina. Any help or advice as to where I can look next would be greatly appreciated. Evelynn

But at Virsryd there is a Christina born 1806, daughter of soldier Nils Ward, she moves 1821 to Kallnäs(?) in Ljuder. Thanks for your help, Bo. This is truly a troublesome person to find. Your are probably right about the Christina that moved out is not the right one. I can go through the Linneryd AI:15 HFL page by page, but I am concerned about how to know if I have the right one if her birth date keeps changing. Family Search shows a Christina born on 10 Sep 1805, but I can't find a birth record for her and I don't know where they got the information. Since Christina born in 1800 was still alive in 1821, it doesn't seem likely that another daughter would have been given the same name.
