    3. Dear List Members, Was able to do 2 more hours at the LDS Family History Center today and now I need a critical eye: Located who I think might be the Anders CARLSON who is listed in Lekasa Household Book as being born 1741 Bitterna. Vasterbitterna C:1 (1710-1791) image 52/page 97 I think it says September 29, 1739 Anders CARLSON s/o Carl ANDERSON & Elin LARSDOTTER. However: Vasterbitterna AI:1 (1762-1774) Image 9/page 2 Lists Carl ANDERSON & Elin LARSDOTTER, but shows a Andreas 1744 and Anders 1746. Then lists Lekasa under the family. Not sure how to read this. Regards, Lance

However: --- Västerbitterna C:1 (1710-1791) Image 52 / page 97 (AID: v9639.b52.s97, NAD: SE/GLA/13694) September the 29th (1739) was baptised Anders Carlsson from Hallestorp, father Carl Andersson, mother wife Elin Ersdotter. Witnesses Jon Bengtsson, Jon Bryngelsson, farmhand Anders Andersson, wife Kerstin Lardotter, maid Cecilia Jonsdotter, Margreta Olufsdotter and Karin Svensdotter. > > Vasterbitterna AI:1 (1762-1774) Image 9/page 2 > > Lists Carl ANDERSON & Elin LARSDOTTER, but shows a Andreas > 1744 and Anders 1746. Then lists Lekasa under the family. > Not sure how to read this. --- Address Tålanda Wästergård, Carl Andersson with wife Elin (no surname). They (or only the last son?) moved ("f." = "flyttat") to Lekåsa. There is also "död" marked for both Carl and Elin, but their communion dates continue to 1769. This COULD be the above Anders Carlsson's family, and he COULD be your Anders Carlsson, but the names are very common. Perhaps it is that family, I see Ingeborg Carlsdotter in Hellestorp born 3 Apr 1736, parents Carl Andersson and Elin Larsdotter. This COULD be the Ingeborg in AI:1 recorded as born 1737. Västerbitterna C:1 (1710-1791) Image 49 / page 91 (AID: v9639.b49.s91, NAD: SE/GLA/13694) But I don't see the two sons in the birth book... // Bo Johansson
