Gustaf has a remark about certificate for military service 14 Feb 1902, and has "stam." (stamanställd = employed soldier) in the conscription column. In the next volume he still has "stam" in the conscription column, but also occupation bookkeeper and a remark "korporal i reserven" (Corporal in the Army Reserve), so he must have been discharged as employed soldier during this period, and before he moved to Göteborgs Domkyrko 1910-12-09. So one can assume he was employed as soldier 1902-1907, and was promoted to Corporal during that time. And since he was recorded with his parents in Karlstad, he presumably served in Värmlands Regemente in Karlstad. // Bo Johansson
