Nils is not a snickare. The first word in the row is Sjuks...illness. I don't know what the second word is. The 1910 census says jukvårdskorpral . Sjuksvard means tender of the sick/nurse, Korpral - Corporal, a rank. Sjömanshus is General Register and Records Office of Shipping and Seaman. It may say he's registered there. (Bo will straighten me out.)
