Dear Joy, Just realized that came over at 18 years old. Did he come with any other family members? Checked the 1880 Census and there is a John Johnson from Sweden age 19 who was a servant in St. Croix County, Wisconsin. However, the 1900 Census in Bayfield, Wisconsin shows that he immigrated in 1882 through Pennsylvania. Through it shows Hannah immigrating in 1885 and we found her in the 1883 Immigration records.
