    3. I am trying to follow this couple who married in Vartofta-Åsaka in 1807, couple No. 1. Vartofta-Åsaka EI:1 (1764-1849) Image 34 / page 57 (AID: v55626.b34.s57, NAD: SE/GLA/13616) Lisa resided in Öjevalla. I think this is her on Öjevalla, but it says she and the girl below her moved in 1807 to Sandhem. I found Maria in the moving out record but not Lisa. Vartofta-Åsaka AI:3 (1799-1812) Image 97 / page 185 (AID: v44033.b97.s185, NAD: SE/GLA/13616) Based on this page saying Lisa was born in Slöta in 1786, I found a birth record that said her parents were Måns Ljungquist & Anna Håkansdotter, residing at Enåsen. The parents' marriage record gave his father's name as Pehr, so these names fit the marriage record, as does the year of birth 1786. Now I am trying to determine if this Lisa Månsdotter in Slöta moved to Åsaka. This HFL shows Lisa with her parents and siblings. She moves out to some place. I thought it said Andag. Karleby, but I can't find a farm that looks like that in Karleby. (bottom of right page) I haven't found her moving in to Vartofta-Åsaka. Slöta AI:4 (1800-1811) Image 38 / page 63 (AID: v28461.b38.s63, NAD: SE/GLA/13491) This couple is giving me lots of problems. I don't know where they lived after they married either, but right now I am trying to make sure I have identified the wife correctly. Thank you. Annette

Pet.son, age 28, adress Wartofta Bergsgård, parents Pet. Joh.son and Maria Olsdotter. Bride Lisa Månsdotter, age 21, address Öjevalla, parents Måns Petersson and Anna Håkansdotter. I see a Pet. Joh.son and Maria Ols. at Vartofta Bergsgård in the 1804-1812 section in [R] Vartofta-Åsaka AI:3 (1799-1812) Image 71 / page 133 (AID: v44033.b71.s133, NAD: SE/GLA/13616). There is also an Anders born 1774 in Valstad, could that be the groom? Or perhaps a farmhand... > > Lisa resided in Öjevalla. The daughter Lisa moves 1806 to Ändag. Karleby, perhaps Ännagården i Karleby parish. I see a maid Lisa Månsdotter born 1786 Slöta, at Ännagården in [R] Karleby AI:4 (1801-1811) Image 46 / page 83 (AID: v28523.b46.s83, NAD: SE/GLA/13272). She is crossed out, but I see no mention about a destination. But her parents' names are a little unusual, so this is probably the Lisa Månsdotter of the marriage record. // Bo Johansson
