    1. [SWEDEN] Finding HFL 1834, Växjö, AID: v30880.b268.s265

    3. I cannot find the HFL record for the family of Christina Charlotta Wahlin, born 30 December 1833 in Växjö, Kronoberg. Her birth record is: AID: v30880.b268.s265. Charlotta is entry 98 on the left page. I believe she was born in the city / town of Växjö and the parish was: Växjö stadsförsamling. I assume her birth record states the location where her parents lived, but I'm not sure. I could not find anything in the index of the many HFL books that would lead me to the place where this family lived in Växjö. Her mother was 46 when Charlotta was born so they probably had other children in her family. Any help is greatly appreciated. I don't expect this list to do the research for me, but I need some directions. Thank you! Mary

Her mother was 46 when Charlotta was born so they probably had > other children in her family. --- Number 98, Christna Caharlotta, born 30 Dec (1833), baptised 4 Jan 1834, parents "brefdragaren" (the mail carrier) Carl Fred. Waltin/Wallin(?) and wife Cathrina Ågren, [her] age 46 years. No mention of address. But the title "brevbärare" is found in the occupation/title index in the beginning of the HFL book, and the family is found in Växjö AI:10 (1833-1838) Image 135 / page 126 (AID: v21280.b135.s126, NAD: SE/VALA/00457). The surname looks like Wallin. Then in the next volume in Växjö AI:12 (1838-1842) Image 123 / page 114 (AID: v21282.b123.s114, NAD: SE/VALA/00457). // Bo Johansson
