Jon Nilson (Jöns Nilsson) came into Farstorp about 1747/1748. He first appears in the Population Register of 1748 and is there for many years. Whilst I've yet to check every year, his death in 1785 is recorded at Farstorp. Jon and his wife Bolla Andersdotter had 11 children in Farstorp from 1748 to 1770. The count of 11 is recorded in the notes with their deaths (1 May 1785 for Jon and 16 Oct 1791 for Bolla). I am trying to determine if they had a son Jon about 1747, prior to coming into Farstorp (I cannot locate the marriage or birth on ddss.nu, and think they must have taken place at a parish not yet transcribed). A son Jon would mean 12 children in all, or that son might have been born before marriage. You would think a father would name a son after himself, and of the 11 names none is Jon. In Farstorp MTL:1 (1742-1830) Image 45 / page 1759, Jon Nilsson is the second line under Farstorp. I have two questions for Listers. After Jon's name is the usual 'h' for hustru, and then words I cannot make out. I then see what I think is 'Jöns Andersson og/af Ola Nilsson, og ?', perhaps torpares working for Jon on his farm (he was an annexebonde). Can anyone tell me what those words are please? Also, what is written in the column on the far right please? The same words appear for other households as well, so must be general terms. But I see them across the years and would wish to know what they are. Many thanks Kevin
