Yes. I think the place/farm name in the Population register is Björkeröd. Hörja MTL:1 (1742-1830) is very difficult to read for me, but from 1781 onwards one line does look like it could be Nils Pärsson. DDSS has a Nils Pehrsson who died at Björkeröd on 22 Sep 1821 aged 89, so born about 1732. If Nils was born about 1747 and Elisabeth about 1742, they probably aren't related. But worth a look. You'll be right about Nils not being in the 1781/1782 registers for Hörja and Finja. Nils' birth/baptism entry does say that his parents were on a journey, so perhaps they were not resident. DDSS doesn't have Malmö records, so we can't check if Jöns Lind was born or married there, nor where the other children (Anna Catharina 1774) and Ola (1780) were born. I have not found them at all, and hence I have nothing to place them in any parish between the 1740's and 1781. One interesting and unrelated name I noted in Boa hus, Farstorp. In AI:1 (1813-1819) Image 19 / page 16 is a Måns Lind, born 12 Apr 1783. I looked him up in CI:4 (1766-1792) Image 46 / page 40 and he is the son on Gunne Andersson and Pernilla Trusldotter. How he came by the name Lind is a mystery. Kevin
