    3. I told my friend I would ask the Swedish Roots Listers to look at this problem as they are both knowledgeable and among the best of the genealogy researchers. Thanks, Sharon and Lois for your kind help. I had to laugh when I read Sharon's comment, "there are lots of Swedes in Minnesota." Yep, I was one of them! I hope someone who has access will check Canadian records even though Lois may have figured out my dilemma. And, I'll do more work on military records. Thank you so much and Happy New Year, Yvonne
