I would like to find information on my half-brother's maternal great-grandparents. His grandfather died young (aged 45) and his grandmother remarried and seldom spoke of her first husband. I have found on ancestry.com a birth for a Carl Bernhard Liljestrale on 17 Dec 1869 in Allmänna Barnbördshuset, Stockholm, but cannot decipher the rest of the information. Also I have no way of determining if this is my "Carl B Lilliestrale". He emigrated in 1886 according to the US 1900 census and settled in Brooklyn, New York where he became a citizen and worked as a letter carrier. Thank you in advance for any help. Jo-Ann Croft
