    3. That does make sense given what other notes I am seeing. I have another question though. This is something I have never come across before. What would be a reason someone would be listed as tax-free? On another clerical survey he is listed as crippled. Could that be a reason? Being an idiot, or being crippled, or just being very poor. Here it is just the son of the family, so probably only he was unable to support himself, for example for health reasons. // Bo Johansson
