Thanks for that Bo so this is FREDRIKSSON not HALLGREN. That's good to know let me know if you ever find Karl/Carl (Charles) Frederick HALLGREN anywhere. Also I have just found a document I have here that is of course in Swedish but it has Karl Frederick HALLGREN with the word In Swedish (Sailor) Not sure what it all means though. This may connect up with some thought that he was a Merchant Seaman by some of the family here.
