    3. Dear List Back in May 2006 I joined the List to ask for help to locate Nils Olsson, reportedly born in Farlip, which doesn't exist as a parish but a genuine candidate for him was found in Färlöv parish, Kristianstad lan. This particular guy was born in either Roalöv or Ulriksdal, depending on the register you are looking at. And those two places aren't far apart. Then in August 2009 I returned to the List for further help. As a result of the great help I received I was sent Genline images of a few HFL pages and also the church register page containing Nils birth (9 Jul 1840). His mother was one Karna Nilsdotter, an unmarried girl, and mother and son can be found on page 59 of the 1836-1841 HFL, which I recorded as GID 1647.53.98600. The next sighting of Nils was in the 1851-1855 HFL, on page 55, GID 1647.27.76800. Nils was living with foster parents, but actually aunt and uncle. Karna was not present. At the time (2006 or 2009 I'm not sure), pages were the in-between years had not been digitised. Genline might have had them, and SVAR and ArkivDigital not, I don't recall exactly. I'm wondering what the status is today, almost 6 years later. I know I never did find out what happened to Karna, and wonder if those pages might give us some clues. I have searched www.ddss.nu but have not found a suitable candidate. This particular Nils Olsson emigrated to Denmark - Judy, Bo, Pat and others helped with Emibas and HFL searches at the time. Whether this Nils is definitely the man I'm after is still unproved, as I do not have a single detail of where he went in Denmark, where he lived, where he married, or where his children were born. Perhaps Karna died in the period 1841 to 1851. Perhaps she also emigrated to Denmark, of migrated elsewhere in Sweden. I should like to find her if possible. As a first request, could sks view the HFL for the Färlöv parish to see if the periods immediately prior to 1851-1855 (?1846-1850, and ?1841-1845) have been digitised. I can take out a short-term subscription if they have, and would prefer ArkivDigital if possible. But SVAR would be fine. I will then look to see if there is mention of Karna and Nils. Thanks in advance Kevin
