The columns are: 1 - men 2 - wifes 3 - sons and farmhands (age 15 and higher) 4 - daughters and and maids (age 15 and higher) 5 - craftsmen 6 - millers 7-10 "torpare", cottagers, and lodgers 11-12 lodgers without steady employment 13 - exempt from taxes: over age 63 14 - exempt from taxes: under age 15 15 - exempt from taxes: nobility and others Farstorp parish is found at Kristianstads läns landskontor t o m ca 1900 EIII:95 (1783-1783) Image 109 / page 106 (AID: v98795.b109.s106, NAD: SE/LLA/108941). Hi Bo Thanks for the further input. Awesome maps; have not seen those before. Yes, I discovered yesterday that DDSS was incomplete. I found an error too, but not with DDSS. It has the birth of Jöns on 1808-05-27 as the son of Jöns Lind and Kjerstina Hansdotter, but that should be Nils Lind and Kjerstina Hansdotter. The register appears to be at fault. The marriage is correct: Hästveda CI:4 (1793-1828) Image 171 / page 160. The images for Grevie are, for me, impossible to read. I saw where it was on the map and after a while just put it aside. I had a little more success with Löderup and Ingelstorp. But as my subscription ends today I decided to leave further searches until another time. I've ensured I have images for Nils LIND and family - marriages, baptisms, burials where possible. Your help this past week has been immense and I'm very grateful to receive it.
