Thank you very much. I think the place should be Germundö as the family seems to have resided there for years. I have found a few articles which seem to say that Tyris Footangel was a member the noble parliament. His surviving children appear to have married officers. What I am most interested in is the son Harald (born 1709 in Germundö, Salvik ) of Johan Grönstedt and Christina Footangel. I think he could possibly be the missing link between Johan Grönstedt who died in Gagnef in 1724 and Elias Grönstedt who was born in Gagnef in 1726 I think Easter in 1683 would be the 18 of April so she was born on the 25 Apr 1683. Thanks again. This is great information. -----Original Message----- From: Bo Johansson [mailto:bo.h.johan56@bredband.net] Sent: Tuesday, June 23, 2015 5:29 PM To: Peter Lundberg; sweden@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [SWEDEN] Can someone help me translate the birth or baptism of Christina Footangel Den 2015-06-23 kl. 21:19, skrev Peter Lundberg via: > > I am interested in what it says about her father Tyris and if there > is a day mentioned.
