I have been researching our Swedish ancestors upon their arrival to the US and have just learned about the "Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center" which appears to have a good amount of records for Swedish immigrants. I have used their research service via snail mail when I have come to dead ends and they are very helpful and professional. They have copies of lots of US church records that are not on-line.

Using the Swenson Center I found that the county death record was incorrect and they had the correct information from the local Swedish church.
