    3. Trying to find the birth records and parents for Kristina Katrina Jonsdotter born 2 Mar 1837 supposedly in Floda (D). However I do not see her birth in Floda. Can anyone help find her birth and/or parents. Here is a record in AD that show Kristina with her husband Lars Larsson. Mellösa AI:21 (1876-1880) Image 176 / page 165 (AID: v59800.b176.s165, NAD: SE/ULA/10835) Thank you. Peter Lundberg

    3. Peter, I followed them back in the HFL to see when they moved in and from where. Here they moved in from somewhere in 1863. I am not familiar with the names in this area and don't know if this is a farm or a parish. Mellösa AI:18 (1861-1865) Image 157 / page 147 (AID: v59797.b157.s147, NAD: SE/ULA/10835) OK, here the family is in the moving in records for 1863, No 25. It looks like Helgesta. Mellösa B:2 (1861-1894) Image 10 (AID: v59806.b10, NAD: SE/ULA/10835) Here is Lars Larsson moving out in 1963 from Glastorp on HFL page 136, 1 male and 2 females. Helgesta B:2 (1861-1890) Image 8 (AID: v59300.b8, NAD: SE/ULA/10394) Here they are right where they should be on page 136. They had moved in from Floda in '62. Helgesta AI:15 (1861-1865) Image 145 / page 136 (AID: v59291.b145.s136, NAD: SE/ULA/10394) Here is their marriage in Floda. Floda EI:1 (1786-1861) Image 102 (AID: v55034.b102, NAD: SE/ULA/10258) And here they are in the HFL. She is listed as Stina Cajsa at the top with Jonas Andersson. Then she was moved down with Lars Larsson and was listed as Chr. Cath. Jonsdr. but the date of birth matches. Floda AI:14a (1856-1861) Image 37 / page 22 (AID: v54995.b37.s22, NAD: SE/ULA/10258) Here is her birth. She was called Stina Kajsa - number 8. Floda C:5 (1821-1872) Image 85 / page 82 (AID: v55029.b85.s82, NAD: SE/ULA/10258) I had the opposite with my ancestor. She was always called Maja Lisa, but her christening record said Maria Elisabeth. This was fun. I have been working on my husband's US relatives. I need to get back to my Swedish lines before my AD subscription runs out.
