Hi Diane The moving in record will usually have either the name of the village or the page number that the person is moving into. In Sundsvall there seems to be no village names, instead page numbers are listed to show where the person is going. I use AD which has the births from the birth books and not the SCB which Genline filmed. In the birth books the page number where the parents are living when the child is born is listed. Good luck in the pursuit of your Swedish ancestors. Naomi in Illinois --------------------------------------------------------- DianeLeMasson wrote Tue, 2 Oct 2012 16:07:24 Hi Naomi Not sure what you mean but both records are in the SCB which has no page number. I did find them thanks to Martin. Using Ancestry, there is no register for Sundsvall so have no idea what village they lived in. Each image I've noticed there were no place names so maybe there isn't such. Plus they have 1705 images that I would have had to look through. Matters worst Moving In & Out only go up to 1894. Take care.......... Diane i NJ

The moving in records show them going to page 980 in Sundsvall, but from there they go back to Ytterlännäs 1 June 1901. Thanks Naomi. The sons on this Sinnick Broer were Anders & Broor and they came with the mother/father & a sister to America, then they later had Jan. Of course there may have been more, possibly staying in the old country, but I believe the 3 sons & the one daughter, and she, we have never found a name for, but did find she had married a Falkenberg here. It has been a very interesting line to research and I was fortunate to compile it for publication in 2008. But always enjoy adding more as I find it. Thanks for replying. I have done a draft of the translation of a bouppteckning from 1820 in Ärtemark (P). Bo helped me with the introduction so I'm OK with that. Now I have a number of words in the inventory list that escape me - as Bo says, the spelling is "imaginative" (and not consistent). Penmanship also comes and goes. The draft with my attempt at transcription and translation and .pdf images is available starting at www.sandinfamily.com/genealogy-resources/svensson-olof-bp/1-s-o-bp.htm . Please don't knock yourself out since there are so many issues, but any help you can offer will be appreciated. I suggest that a couple pages at a time might be appropriate, with a couple days rest in between. The entire thing needs review, but if you just want to look for my big problems, search for question marks. I need answers, but if you are simply curious, feel free. A big thank you! Diane - Sundsvall is in Västernorrland län. If you find the birth record or death record it usually shows on which page the family was listed. Hope this helps.
