Not impossible, but they usually didn't marry before age 20. In the left margin is "Backstuga utan utsäde(??)" (cottage without seed?), the address seems to be Guntorp Nordgården. // Bo Johanson

    2. Hello, I am researching Brita Bengsdotter of Skepplanda whose husband, Bòrje Jonssonk, died on 9 Jan 1763, the beginning year for this HFL. I have found her marriage record and the birth records for four children. The first died, the remaining three, all daughters, Marit 18, Kerstin 14, and Anna 10. The Brita Bengsdotter (middle of left page) has the potential for being the Brita I am looking, though here children were obviously living elsewhere. I cannot read the left marginal note or what is written to the left of her name. Would appreciate someone translating for me. 2. Pono (Norm)
    3. This is an 1820 bp from Ärtemark (P). The deceased is my MMFFMF. I have spent MANY hours transcribing and translating with help from Bo, Martin and a person from Anbytarforum, but I still have about 30 question marks in the document. The spelling is unusual even for the time period and I have made a number of guesses. I'd be delighted for any review, suggestions, corrections and/or comments. My hope is to present this and the other 10 translations to help others who are attempting the same thing with their relatives. Thanks for any responses! http://www.sandinfamily.com/genealogy-resources/bp-xlat-intro.htm The bp is No. 11 on the left-hand menu. Pages 5-7 have the majority of the question marks, but there are many other uncertainties. Aloha, Pono Norman A. Sandin POB 1602 Kihei, HI 96753 http://www.sandinfamily.com [pau]

Yesterday I was looking at the list of newly created and updated databases at FamilySearch and noticed that they have the SSDI for September 2012 available there. I'm not sure how long they have had this available, but I thought it might be good to publicize this. Hope this helps someone - Mark Johnson Oconomowoc, Wisconsin Ysearch/Mitosearch 3VP37
