GID 251.12.78000 Hello, Can someone translate the lines for Samuel Gabrielsson & Anna Nilsdotter? They are in Olstorp, the 4th & 5th names. Especially the notations at the end. Thank you for all the help. Steve
Wow that was quick Martin...thanks so much....back to the hunt Ricky
Hi again, Have hit a bunch of dead ends searching for this family... I have them last at Oftendahl Kyrkefalla A1-5 (1833-1841) Image 26 page 37 - they came here from same book Image 96 - Page 177. I can't find where they came from before or went later. I've searched for the birth records for the first 2 children in both Grevbäck and Kyrkefalla to no avail. I do have the birth record of Johan August 1 Oct 1836 in Kyrkefalla. I've looked for more children being born later in the same areas...nothing for over 6 years. I've also looked for the birth records of Anders Petter Jonsson and his wife, Anna Lisa Svensdotter in the same area. Any suggestions appreciated... Ricky Harris

She had a daughter in her previous marriage, Britta Maria Elisabet, born 5 Sep 1912. Their daughter Karin Linnea Gabriella was born 8 June 1921. Dear Martin, Thanks so much for your help in translating this record.... Ricky Harris
Thank you Martin, I had looked at that page earlier but missed the entry because I "saw" only the Engla Christina. Enjoy your second day of Christmas! Thanks to all of you, and especially Bo, for your help with my Swedish records this year. I truly could not have made as much progress without you. May you all have a very Merry Christmas remembering your family - those who are with us now, and those who have gone on before. Yours, Venita "This is a beautiful and blessed season. To My Favorite Genealogy Listers: In case anyone is wondering, this Jacquie Lawson web site is valid; I subscribe to this service, so it is not junk mail or spam. I sent this to myself first so I could forward the pertinent part since the original is in .html format and contains graphics, and that way you can just click on the below link which should be in plain text on your end. The two photos I attached to the card have been scanned before I uploaded them, so they should also be safe. Norway Listers will undoubtedly recognize the same Jacquie Lawson site that the late Olaf Kringhaug used to send us for every major holiday.... I am remembering one of my colonial New England ancestors this Xmas. He was at Valley Forge that first horrible winter of 1777-1778. In my latest find about him, he's on the Valley Forge muster rolls for December 1777 through June 1778 when he's listed as being sick at Yellow Springs Hospital. He survived with whatever made him ill because on 13 June 1783 he was honorably discharged at Newburgh, and the discharge paper was signed by G. Washington [Yes, I compared known signatures, and the signature is in the same penmanship. :-)] :-) Best Wishes for a safe and happy holiday season! Bev ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dear Genealogy Friends, Bev Anderson has sent you a Jacquie Lawson greeting card. Please click on the following link to see your card. Merry Christmas - Happy New Year from Hawaii. Since things are a bit slow on the list I'll offer a reminder. I've add ~150 words to the Swedish-English Pictorial Dictionary so if you are translating bouppteckningar and couldn't find words before, try again (URL below). The bp I just found is the second wife of one of my greats. He died in 1820 and left several cows and a heifer. She died in 1829 and had one cow with the same name as one in his inventory and another with the same name as the heifer. Either she recycled the names or they may be the same animals. I'm guessing they are the same and it tickles me. Can't wait to see what else survived. It doesn't take much to please this old man. Aloha, Pono Norman A. On Arkiv Digital we can see the new index which was made in 1972. Olstorp is on page 145 in 1822-1826. Wråen is on page 81 in 1826-1836.
