Year 1827 the 10th January appeared the undersigned after request in Stockaryd Mellangård to conduct estate inventory after the deceased wife Maja Stina Magnusdotter who with death departed the 16th last October, and was survived by widower Anders Svensson and three under-age children... The farm was of size 1/6 mantal, recalculated to 1/8, so it wasn't large. Under "Boskaps Kreatur" they had 2 oxen, 3 cows and 1 heifer, some sheep, and 3 bee-hives. // Bo Johansson

    3. So she died 16 Oct. 1826 at Stockaryd, Jonkopings. I see her death entry at v36193.b114.s217 on A.D. OR at GID Number:186.22.34100 Volume:C:2 Roll/Fiche Number:IJ-1440 Page Number:375 on Ancestry.com. The entry goes onto the next page so it is 19 lines long but appears to be mostly legible. I would love a translation, maybe she died in childbirth? I also see a short entry #14, that states her name also. Is that her child? Brenda in Seattle
