I began with Christina's birth and worked backward through the births in Kil parish. I found a lot of children for Samuel Taberman and his wife Kerstin Erichsdotter, including Elisabeth, and I also found them as witnesses for the christenings of a lot of children, including the sister of the man their daughter Maria later married. That made me curious about how the witnesses were chosen. Were they usually related?
