    3. I wanted to share a new resource for the list. I have used the Swenson Center at Augustana College but the distance to Rock Island, IL has made the project difficult. I was searching for records on the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Chicago (when it was at Sedgewick and Hobbie) and I discovered that the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) loans out microfilm at $15 per reel per month. Since I knew the time period that I was researching I was able to order it by mail. I can take it to my local library and hopefully I will learn more about the family. You can Google ELCA Archives for the phone number and address and they were very helpful. Hope this might be of help. Carol in KY
